Overview
Belino Voshtina focuses his practice on professional liability defense and coverage and general liability defense.
In his professional liability practice, he defends a variety of professionals including insurance agents and brokers in accusations of negligence, breach of duty, and errors and omissions. He also assists agents and brokers with renewing and maintaining their license in New York. In his general liability work, Mr. Voshtina represents clients in matters arising from claims of construction defects, premises liability, bodily injury, and New York Labor Law 240 and 241.
Previously, Mr. Voshtina worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Domestic Violence Bureau of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. During law school, Mr. Voshtina served as an intern at the District Court of Connecticut and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. He also interned at a private law firm handling debt collection and creditors rights on behalf of major banks.
Mr. Voshtina is fluent in Albanian.
